Environmental Protection

Environmental protection is so important in the world today that there is a governmental agency to monitor it all. The EPA or Environmental protection agency was established in 1970. It continues to work today to help the environment.

The Environmental Protection Agency employs close to twenty thousand people. These people are responsible for running research programs. They also manage other programs across the United States that help with environmental issues.

A person does not have to be an employee of the Environmental Protection Agency in order to protect the environment. Living green is a great way to help as well. Living green includes recycling and reducing the amount of waste that a person generates.
