Carbon Footprint

A person’s carbon footprint is one the easiest ways to measure their impact on the environment. This footprint tells a person how and what can be done in order to reduce their impact on the environment.

A carbon footprint is an important environmental protection tool. If ever person tried to decrease their carbon footprint there would be less harm being done to the environment every day. Also, wildlife and water supplies would benefit.

A carbon footprint is essentially the measurement of the amount of greenhouse gases that a person releases into the environment. These gases may not be voluntary released, but released through a person’s actions. Often, a person is not aware of the amount of an impact that he has on the environment.
